In this presentation Mike Long, of Mike Long Associates, will describe how Action Learning contributes to individuals’ CPD commitment in a Management Programme for Bradford City Council and Bradford Care Trust NHS.
14.00 Collaboration and risk-sharing: the key to success
The advantages of online learning for providing CPD are increasingly well-recognised. In this presentation, Alan Nelson, of Nelson Croome, will refer to case study findings to demonstrate how and why a new publishing-focused collaborative business model has benefited clients and their members in providing and using online CPD.

14.30 CPD in the RetailSector
In this presentation, Colin Tait, of MyKnowledgeMap, will describe the system created to support Tesco in delivering the Foundation Degree in Retail to its employees. This includes tutor support, assessment and e-learning management and an e-portfolio facility.

15.00 Action Learning for Safety and Leadership
In this presentation, Phil Higton, of Terema, will describe a project recently completed for the Department of Health in which a programme of Action Learning was used to support the CPD of Senior Nurses with particular emphasis on the integration of Safety and Leadership into everyday practice.
