Best practices for State-of-the-Art Mechanisms to Ensure

E-Learning Integrity

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is revolutionizing education and will play a crucial role in the development of a lifelong learning culture by making knowledge more accessible to all. Technology-mediated learning or e-learning also offers greater flexibility regarding time and location of training delivery and has the potential to become cost-effective strategy for addressing the scope and scale of education and training needs.

While e-learning can provide numerous benefits to both training providers and learners, it has also extended and exacerbated some of the same problems, issues and concerns related to academic integrity which are inherent to traditional face-to-face instruction. It is easier to cheat when training is delivered online. Successful e-learning programs cannot therefore be hinged entirely on the trust and honesty of the learners. It has become imperative to ensure the integrity of both the training experience and the certification provided for the successful completion of e-learning courses.

I am writing a research paper focused on best practices or state-of-the-art mechanisms that must be built into e-learning courses to ensure learners integrity in course participation, completion of course assignments, and the completion of tests and examinations. I should be most grateful of you could share with me any relevant information you have regarding best practices or state-of-the-art mechanisms that are in current use to ensure the integrity of e-learning with respect to:

  • Course participations;
  • Completion and submission assignments;
  • Completion of tests and examinations.
  • Other issues and concerns not listed above.

An early reply will be very much appreciated. Please feel free to share this requ
