So how do we effectivelymeasure the success of training programmes and is it worth the hassle?During this presentation, Andrew Birch, Director of Sales at BPP Professional Education, will attempt to shed some light on the benefits of calculating ROI in training.
11.50 Exploring tangible benefits of e-learning: does investment yield interest?
In this presentation, Jacquie Kelly, of Northumbria University, will look at the outcomes of a very recent JISCresearch study into the benefits of e-learning. Exploring the issuesthrough a wide range of case studies she will seek out evidence thattechnology-enhanced learning is delivering tangible benefits forlearners, teachers and institutions.

This workshop session will be introduced by a presentation from David Vachell, of Telos Partners,who will consider critical issues including how to balance competingand increasing demands for increasingly scarce resources, how to getthe attention of the executive in supporting and sustaining learningand how to protect budgets against competition from other departments.This will be followed group discussion to consider the issues and aplenary session to review the outcomes.
