Membership Categories, Costs & How to Join
Process
You can join the British Institute for Learning and Development (the BILD) as an individual member or an organisational member.
- Each member, whether an individual or organisation, must be categorised according to four levels of membership which are mapped against Learning and Development qualifications and experience.
- The first step to becoming a member is to send the Institute your CV (if you are joining as an organisation, you must submit the CVs of all the individuals who wish to be part of the membership) and we can then advise you which level of membership would be suitable for you.
- Your CV should highlight your Learning and Development relevant experience and qualifications where possible. If you are unsure as to how to present your details, please use our dummy CV - click here
- The rest of the application can be done over the phone and you will then be asked to submit copies of your qualifications and references following this phone application process.
