Tokyo International Book Fair (TIBF) 2009
(9-12 July, 2009)

Tokyo International Book Fair (TIBF) 2009 (http://www.tibf.jp/ English language available), celebrating its 16th show this year, is the largest book show for companies  wishing to break into the Japanese and the Far East markets.

UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) Tokyo will run a stand titled “Learning Solutions from the UK” and are inviting UK companies wishing to penetrate the Japanese/Far East Asian markets mainly in the following areas:

  • ELT Materials
  • E-learning solutions and contents for all age groups
  • Educational software
  • Educational games and toys
  • Specialist academic publications

All the key contacts who can help you in developing your business in the Japanese market will be at the fair. TIBF attracted last year business visitors from the following sectors (numbers in brackets):

Preparatory schools/cram schools (542)

Copyright agents (397)

There were also 1,507 overseas business visitors, mainly from Asian countries.
