A meeting of the Learning Designer Special Interest Group (SIG)

19th July, Cranfield University.

The BILD, Cranfield University and UFI Learn Direct have embarked on a programme of study to investigate the provision of instructional and learning design courses across the UK and to recommend ways to develop a suitable qualification in conjunction with the relevant institutions.

This SIG meeting will provide the opportunity for delegates to review progress and contribute their own views to the draft set of recommendations including a competency framework.

This SIG will cover a review of the following: -
Stage 1 - Assessment of existing qualification structures,
Stage 2 - Assessment of existing learning design related courses,
Stage 3 - A competency framework
