China, as the world’s 4th largest economy with the largest population continues to be a huge market for UK business particularly in the field of education & training. Building on the success of student recruitment (the total number of Chinese students in the UK is currently in the region of 80,000+), UK business are now taking advantage of the growing opportunities including co-operation through in-country delivery, joint/franchise programmes, distance learning, professional training and much more the China market present including education equipment.

The CBBC Education & Training Mission is specifically designed for business wishing to develop education/training links and business. The mission will benefit from on-the-ground assistance from CBBC's China offices in Beijing & Qingdao, one of the most developed coastal cities and the base of many of the world renowned Chinese companies, and from the strong relationships CBBC has established with Taiyuan, capital city of Shanxi province, the inland region less frequented by overseas visitors which offers huge potential opportunities due to its wealth as the capital of coal mining industry of China.
